13* - 4.67 miles (Easy) Basically flat terrain along Willamette River and Portland Waterfront on pavedcity streets.14 - 5.49 miles (Moderate) Basically flat terrain along Front Ave/St. Helen’s Rd. / Highway #30 onpaved shoulder and sidewalks.15 - 7.25 miles (Hard) Gently rolling terrain on paved shoulder along Highway #30.16 - 3.52 miles (Easy) Gently rolling terrain on paved shoulder along Highway #30.17 - 5.69 miles (Easy) Basically flat terrain on paved shoulder along Highway #30.18 - 4.15 miles (Hard) Short leg over gradual uphill terrain on paved back-country roads. No vans.19 - 5.89 miles (Very Hard) Long leg over challenging up and down hills on paved back-country roads.20 - 5.75 miles (Very Hard) Very challenging up and down hills on partially paved and gravel back-country roads.21 - 5.0 miles (Moderate) Basically flat terrain along a creek on a gravel back road.22 - 6.81 miles (Hard) Gradual up and downhills on paved but narrow back-country roads.23* - 4.18 miles (Easy) Basically flat terrain on narrow country roads with minimum shoulders.24* - 4.92 miles (Easy) Basically flat terrain along Nehalem River and through pastoral setting onHighways 47 and 202.25* - 3.75 miles (Easy) Gently rolling terrain (last 2 miles) on paved country roads.26* - 5.77 miles (Hard) Begins with gently rolling hills with a nearly two mile long uphill at the end, but finishing downhill for half mile.27* - 5.79 miles (Moderate) Rolling hills on paved rural country road.28* - 4.20 miles (Easy) Gradual uphill on paved road. Narrow highway with limited shoulder.29* - 6.11 miles (Very Hard) Very challenging up and down hills through winding wooded section of Highway 202.30* - 5.35 miles (Moderate) Gradual uphill and steep downhill on winding narrow back road with minimumshoulder.31* - 4.0 miles (Moderate) Gradual hills on narrow paved back-country road.32 - 4.09 miles (Moderate) Basically flat terrain on narrow country roads around Young’s Bay.
