Freeze-It Cooking Day 4/13/11
Notes: The following recipes are just for one family. If you are cooking with a friend as we are, you need todouble the batch. If there are two of you each making 2 meals each, you will end up with 4 meals each for around 4 people. Please alter as necessary.
Mummy Deals’ Meals
Cranberry Pork Roast
3LB boneless pork loin16oz can jellied cranberries½ cup sugar ½ cup cranberry juice2 T cornstarch2 T cold water 
Freezer Day
1) Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, juice.2) Place into small sandwich bag.3) Place pork loin in freezer bag and place the bag juices into the main bag and freeze.
Eating Day
1) Place loin in crockpot and pour juices over the top.2) Cook on low 6-8 hours or until tender.3) Remove roast and take off the fat from the juices.4) Pour around 2 cups into a saucepan and boil.

Combine cornstarch and water to make a paste and then stir in.6) Stir until thickened and then serve with pork.
Lemon Garlic Chicken
2 LB chicken breasts1 t oregano½ tsp salt2 T butter ¼ c water 3 T lemon juice2 garlic cloves, minced1 t chicken bouillon
Freezer Day
1. Combine oregano and salt and rub into chicken.

Brown chicken in butter in skillet. Remove and add to freezer bag.3. Place lemon juice, garlic in sandwich bag. Place bouillon cube in another and place both small bagsin large freezer bag.
Eating Day.
1. Place contents of two small bags in saucepan with ¼ c. water and bring to the boil.2. Place chicken in crockpot and pour juice mixture over the top.3. Cook on high 2- 2 ½ or on low 4-5 hours.
