Belgian EU-Presidency

Welcome to the documents of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB) for the Belgian EU-Presidency which starts on the 1st of July 2010. Our country holds the Presidency at a crucial moment in the history of the European Union. A program to restore the confidence in the euro together with long term measures is of paramount importance of the EU. Postponing structural measures could have expensive and painful consequences. In a fast changing world Europe has to make its economy more competitive and more flexible. This is the only guarantee to keep our European way of life sustainable.
