Nebraska: LR37 Report: Review, Investigation and Assessment of Child Welfare Reform, (2011)
LR37 is a comprehensive report issued by the Nebraska legislature which reviewed in detail the issues concerning privatization of foster care and child welfare services. Included are hearing testimony, a performance audit, the views of the Foster Care Review Board, the results of surveys, contract research, other data, as well as a detailed timeline of events in the State's child welfare system. This is a most comprehensive study of one State's child welfare system.
