All thatmachinery cries out (and competes) forpower to run its motors, oils to cool itsinnards, plastics to protect its surface, andraw materials to shape into new machinesand other products. People want their cars, corporations want their factories, govern-ments want their weapons, and all want thefuels and materials to keep these devices run-ning without interruption. So who feeds the machines in a world of
scarcity?
Petrochem and SovOil, two of 2020's might-

Cyberpunk's
greatest rivals.
