Clayton R. Wright has been actively involved with a number of international collaborative efforts aimed at advancing educational systems through the use of learning technologies. He gained international experience with the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC), the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT), the Commonwealth of Learning, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) via the African Development Bank (ADB), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Dr. Wright has led workshops about distance education, educational technology, curriculum development, instructional design, and professional development, as well as conducted educational evaluations in many countries, including Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, The Gambia, Hungary, India, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Nigeria, Russia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, St. Lucia, Switzerland, Tanzania, and Thailand. He has teaching and administrative experience in secondary and postsecondary education.
