Dan is one of many poets who feel that poetry has been 'hijacked' by academia and taken away from the people. In his own words he feels hed 'like to give poetry back to them.' This, along with Lulus poetry is his attempt at doing so.
They understand there are many levels of poetry and have met on the net many, many wonderful poets of various levels who mostly wont personally consider themselves as poets and think thats a crying shame.
They both believe that you, the reader want to read poetry you can readily understand and perhaps draw parallels with or give you food for thought.
Lulu and Dan both come from very humble backgrounds with poor to middling education, so are feeling very proud to have written this second book as their first was so successful and their loyal fans await eagerly for its publication.view less
