Writing Studies Strand
Writing studies is for students mostinterested in studying writing as adiscipline within the academy. Its flexibleplan for exploring writing is an excellentbackground for students consideringgraduate work in writing and rhetoric.
Students take these three courses:

Students take one of the following:

Professional Writing Strand
The professional writing strand reflects thevariety of career options in writing taughtwithin the Department of English Languageand Literature. It combines study intechnical communications, journalism, andpublic relations.
