t is easy but incorrect to only treat Time Banking as a kindof barter currency that facilitates neighbor-to-neighborexchanges.That seriously understates what it is and how it functions: asa statement about value that takes issue with market price, asa medium of exchange that can enlist “

”and persons whom the market does not value doing laborthat the market does not value, and as a way to incorporate“pay it forward” reciprocity into helping transactions -- that
