Fantastic body of work. Well done to everyone involved. I do have a small correction though. Transcription number 18, regarding Alexander Brodie. The transcription reads "ERECTED BY ALEXANDER BRODIE IN MEMORY OF HIS BELOVED WIFE JANE LEARMONTH, WHO DIED AT MARKLEMAINS. AUGUST 22ND 1869. AGED 61 YEARS. ALSO THEIR INFANT SON ALEXANDER. WHO DIED MARCH 28TH 1851. AGED 4 WEEKS. ALSO THEIR BELOVED DAUGHTER MARION WHO FELL ASLEEP IN JESUS, 15TH DECR 1882. AGED 34 YEARS. THE ABOVE ALEXANDER BRODIE DIED AT WESTBARNS, 17TH APRIL 1865. AGED 85 YEARS. Thy purpose Lord, we do not see. but all is well that's done by thee" Alexander's death certificate states that he actually died 17 April 1895 (30 years later)At the time of his death he was a retired Grocer. Widower of Jane Learmonth. Died at 10pm at West Barns, Dunbar. Age 85 years. Son of Alexander Brodie and Marion Paterson. Cause of death Bronchitis, Senile decay. Death reported by James Purves, Son-in-law. GROS Data 706/00 0026
