Please excuse my lack of midi knwledge as kboards are newer then PC's to me ! Firstly I have a CTK- 496 k/board for my kids ,and have a bunch of cool MIDI files on the computer.I now need a cable to link the PC to the k/board; is this as simple as wiring the %-pin DIN to the Soundcard (as I have much cabling /soldering exp) I would like to D.I.Y. it if pos but I am confused by opto -isolaters and the like !!! PLEASE HELP?
