I'm the mom of an eleven year old with multiple severe disabilities. I've spent most of the past ten years researching the civil rights she's granted as a child with severe disabilities, and using that information to get her all the help I could. The fact that she's developed far beyond any predictions may or may not be related to the fact I've been pretty successful in securing those rights for her. But it may be.
