tteiB from our Readers
This month marks two important DESERT events. One, we havemoved into our new home (see story on Page 20) and, two, we arepublishing the largest issue in our 28-year-old history. A few monthsafter purchasing DESERT MAGAZINE two years ago I made a surveyof our readers to determine if they would like a combined two-monthissue to aid them in selecting areas to visit during their summer vaca-tions. As a result of this survey we decided to publish a combinedAugust-September edition. This SPECIAL VACATION ISSUE is theresult of a year's editorial research and planning. Although it incor-porates two issues, it actually contains more articles than last year'sAugust and September issues combined. We hope you enjoy readingit as much as we did in preparing the material and that it will enrichand guide you during your summer vacation. As they say south ofthe border, "Hasta luego!"Jack PepperPublisherJACK PEPPER,
