Nature Packs is a fun activity for the whole family, and its free!

Get out and explore the natural wonders of Bachechi Open Space by investigating birds, bugs, tracks and more. Nature Packs are ideal for five to ten year-olds, and preschool packs are available for three to four year-olds. Its easy. You just reserve a backpack that is full of all the things you need to explore including guides, handson supplies, and activity sheets. Packs are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Come in person or call (505) 314-0398 to reserve a pack today.
Where do you get the Nature Packs? At the Bachechi Environmental Education Building located at 9521 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Albuquerque NM, 87114. When can you get a Nature Pack? Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m.12 p.m. This is a pilot program that will run from July 14 to August 12. How much are Nature Packs? FREE! You just need to bring an ID to drop off and you can reserve a pack. For additional information, contact calangan@bernco.gov, or call 314-0398 during the week and 514-4388 during weekends.
