This 2004 version, derived in part from the on-line Florida Litigation Guide web pages, lists numerous Civil causes of action for civil lawsuits. For each, it details the elements the plaintiff must allege in the complaint, the supporting case citations, and the various defenses. Introductory topics from the Encyclopedia of American Law define the terms and establish relevance of the contents. A chapter at the end lists numerous affirmative defenses from Florida Statutes, and another provides an array of web links for further information and research.
