In our local media setting there are some instances where you get to see a bit of this issue. Last years election was a good example for this. Friendship for utility is what often being seen every election. As the candidates cried for foul remarks, their closes people in media on the other hand tried to at least divert one issue to another. This particular scenario was said to be applied by the media giant ABS-CBN as they favor for Pres. Benigno Noynoy Aquino during the elections.In an interview of Atty. Adel Tamano, he strongly accused ABS-CBN being bias. One of the said reasons perhaps, is Noynoys sister who has been loyal to the network. Aside from that, Lopez has a big debt of gratitude to the late former Pres. Corazon Aquino, in the acquisition of ABS-CBN after it has been under control by the government during the Marcos Regime. With this, many also said that ABS-CBN will also benefit if ever Noynoy won the election, and now he did.

However, for some instances we want to at least perceived how long will ABS-CBN cover up P-Noy if ever theyre doing it? I just cant imagine them turning upside down if people are already clamoring to the government, regarding their unaided problems.
