20120717 Duxbury v. Troy Filing

Published by William F. Zachmann
This is the new lawsuit in which the Town of Duxbury accuses former Duxbury Town Counsel, Robert Troy, of singlehandedly (with no help from anyone else) of masterminding mess that led to the North Hill lawsuit and claims that Troy should be liable for treble damages. Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, "every stick has two ends". So, in the event that it should turn out that anyone else involve in Duxbury Town Government (employee, elected, or appointed) had any role, active or passive, in unfairly (well, more precisely, illegally) trying to deny Johnson Golf the contract, every such individual should therefore ALSO be liable to the Town of Duxbury for treble damages in the even the case is found in favor of the plaintiff, Johnson Golf. Oops!
