In August, the San Diego County Water Authority will begin construction to reha-bilitate a large-diameter water pipeline located under Jackson Drive. The project
involves inserting steel lining into the existing pipeline (Pipeline 4) at specic
portal sites (see map for locations) to reinforce and extend its service life.
Construction scheduled for August 2012 through mid-2013
Construction on Jackson Drive
The pipeline relining will require construction at ve locations in Jackson Drive
from Mission Gorge Road to Lake Shore Drive near Lake Murray, as well as twolocations in Lake Shore Drive. Water service to homes and businesses will not beaffected.
Jackson Drive Lane Closures
Trafc ow will be modied on Jackson Drive and Lake Shore Drive to allow forconstruction and to ensure workers’ safety. Trafc in both directions will bemaintained, but drivers should expect one or more lanes of trafc on Jackson
