MSW SUPERVISOR NEEDED The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in the Carmichael area of Sacramento along with Carmichael

Arden Arcade Faith Communities seeks to initiate a social work internship to meet the rising social needs in the area. Demands for housing, clothing, food, rental and utilities assistance, addiction recovery, and many social needs overwhelm current resources of neighborhood parishes in the area. An MSW is needed to supervise a social work student intern and oversee the program. The supervisor will meet once a week with the social work intern during the academic year. The Church is developing this program in memory of the late Wanda Collins, former NASW California Chapter President and a long-time member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Wandy was a mentor to many in social work and the program would be a fitting tribute to continue the mission of the church.
