214 SCHOOL DISTRICTS HAVE SUBMITTEDNEGOTIATED EVALUATION AGREEMENTS
State Education Commissioner John B. King, Jr. announced that as of today (July 20 )214 school districts have certified they submitted negotiated teacher and principalevaluation agreements to his office for review. The agreements are required under therevised teacher and principal evaluation law passed earlier this year (Chapter 21 of theLaws of 2012).The State Education Department (SED) created and manages an on-line portal for school districts to submit and certify evaluation agreements that have been negotiatedwith local teacher and principal unions.King said he would periodically update the number of negotiated agreements certifiedby school districts.
