3************************************************************************Lesson 1 - Setting Goals************************************************************************--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else."- Yogi Berra--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lots of attention is focused on goal setting, because it has been proven, time and timeagain, that people who set goals achieve success while those who don’t, generallyachieve very little. Goal setting helps you get clarity about what you want, set priorities, create a plan and attain results. More than that, though, the process of identifying whatwe want in life helps us learn more about who we are. Integrating the goal setting processinto our way of being enables us to take control of our lives. As we plot targets and movetowards achieving them, we bring focus to our days and find meaning in our actions. Ourself-esteem, happiness and fulfillment grow as we clearly see ourselves moving forwardin life. Success breeds success. Our aim, therefore, is to build goal setting into our day-to-day mindset. The process onlyworks when we continually work with it.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------“If you don’t have the courage to pursue your own goals, you leave yourself open to themany people who will be only too happy to recruit you to pursue theirs.”--Jimmy Calano-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Below are some questions for you to answer.
