DOH order led to another scheduled meeting with Jen Branstetter, which LG Cawley attended. At this meeting LG Cawley directed his Chief of Staff to learn the status of the Brighm/Rose Allentown AC registration with the DOH. Guy soon received a return call from Tom Wolf. Mr. Wolf reported that the DOH had not renewed the registration for the AC. On the next day, Guys assistant informed me that DOH inspectors had issued a cease and desist order against this AC. Butas a result of a press release that our organization issued on April 5, 2012, an Allentown Morning Call reporter learned from a DOH press office prepresentative that the DOH had renewed the registration for this AC on April 4, 2012. . A few days later, LG Cawley described the April 4, 2012 decision to reissue the registration for this AC as a mistake by a low-level clerical person. The official reason for the DOH to revoke this registration on April 11, 2012 is because of an infrastructure deficiency. This deficiency refers to the ACs loss if its lease on March 31, 2012. LG Cawley did caution us that this AC has the legal right to request a renewal of its registration if it finds a new location. But, LG Cawley informed us that such a request would be closely scrutinized at all levels..The registration for the Brigham/Rose, Pitts., AC expires on Oct.13, 2012. Mikes conclusions: 1. PA DOH is entrenched with incompetent and pro-abortion bureaucrats, 2. the situation with Brigham is far from over, 3. pressure on Gov. Corbett is needed to keep AMS closed, and to close the Pittsburgh AC. Keep praying!

In summary, as a result of Brighams jailing in Maryland in early 2012 on homicide charges, Richard Gordon, the abortionist at the AMS AC in Allentown quit. This AC did not replace him until Jan.9th, 2012 with Vikram Kaji, who is a convicted sex offender who recently completed a five-year suspension of his medical license. The failure to notify DOH of this nine-day period that AMS was without an abortionist was the sole basis of the DOHs order against Brigham/Rose. The DOH still refused to address the violations of the July, 2010 DOH order that Brigham have no direct or indirect connection with any AC in PA. By the way, Brighams connections to Rose Health Services ACs in PA include: the direct reference on their website, the use of the same toll-free number, responses to DOH inspections and through direct negotiations with the landlord for the AMS AC in Allentown in an attempt to save the lease there. Owena Nagy and Mary Paris, who are veteran pro-life activists with our organization, have compiled extensive documentation on the Brigham/Rose connection and have presented it to all of the officials in Gov. Corbetts Administration who are mentioned in this letter. One positive aspect of this order was that it hinted that the DOH would not be renewing the Rose/Brigham Allentown AC registration when it expired on March 31, 2012. Meanwhile, a relevant part of the story is that the lease for Brighams Allentown AC (at 2200 Hamilton Blvd.) was due to expire on March 31, 2012. Local pro-life activists, led by Kathy Kuhns, were encouraging the landlord (Dave Klein) not to renew the lease. Our complaints about the weakness of the

have a clue about the killing effects of contraception. Now we have Michelle Obama openly showing her ignorance - or? Two years ago, we made history together by finally passing health reform, said Mrs. Obama. And because we passed the law, insurance companies will now have to cover basic preventive care-things like prenatal care, mammograms, contraception - at no extra cost. (Source:CNSNews, 4/25/12). Does she also think pregnancy is an illness to be prevented? Does she favor killing unborn children by abortion or by some contraceptives, like The Pill? Does she really think that this coverage is free? Not to the insurance companies, of course, who will simply pass the costs along. The Obama administration is making history all right, and lets pray they are history after the election in November. Lets also pray for their souls and for our country, and that the bishops of this country, and all Christians, will fight the good fight.

MARY STONE ON EUTHANASIA

Thank God for people like Mary Stone who is one of those lone voices crying in the wilderness of the Culture of Death. She has sent us many articles, on the troubling advances of Euthanasia, but most articles are too long to even summarize in this small newsletter. She also keeps the issue in the public eye with her letters and articles. Here is a portion of her recent editorial letter to The Morning Call: The March 4th Morning Call contained an item, which informed readers that the Dutch began sending six mobile euthanasia teams to private homes. The Netherlands legalized euthanasia on April 1, 20002, and nearly 3,000 deaths are officially reported each year. The slippery slope of euthanasia has progressed quite far in 10 years.Death has become cheap. Albert Schweitzer said, If a man loses his reverence for any part of life, he will lose his reverence for all of life. I wonder if Mother Theresa or Albert Schweitzer would be allowed in the Netherlands today. Mary recommends the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Newsletter at www.epcc.ca , or write to Box 611309, Port Huron, MI. Mary, now in her eighties, is still actively defending life. You go girl! Its amazing what one person can do if one is willing. Bless you Mary.
