"Whats not in Bharata(meaning MBH) is not in Bharta(India) is a common saying in Bengal. Hence the second point is that.
Point is not to show how great a story MBH is. But purpose was to show Mangement lessons from it. hence this take.
hi all...I am Rajdeep... I made this ppt for a presentation in Infosys. To answer ur questions - Mahabharat(~1.8 million words) is not the longest epic, that posn goes to the Epic of King Gaesar(20 million words).
The first line should be: THE LONGEST EPIC IN THE WORLD. I would add: THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STORY EVER TOLD. It is a treasure that all people in the world should be aware of. It is a legacy for all mankind. In India they celebrate the day of the Universal Teacher, after VYASA, the author of the Mahabharata.
The second line should say: Whatever there is in any place, you can find it in the Mahabharata. What is not in the Mahabharata you cannot find anywhere.
This is a beautiful summary of many interested facts that you don't notice or are not apparent when when you read the Mahabharata. Also the way you order them by different points of view is very instructive. Also the geographic areas: I always wondered where thet were in the map. I suppose that you are sure about what you write. I wonder how you knew that Uranus and Neptune are de planets ment
My first reaction : God Bless You. Now, let me get to the details: you have excellently combined your excellent and deep knowledge of Mahabharat with that of modern management theory and practice; your comments are apt, revealing and really catching. If you don't mind, please correct the typos that might have inadvertantly crept in. One more suggestion: why don't you publish a book on this subject ? Another suggestion: if convenient, add more visuals and pictures. Once again, I am immensely pleased.
