LWRC International™, LLC was ounded to pursue the development o a short-stroke gas-piston operated version o the AR15/M16/M4 amily o weapons. Our research and development activities have ocused on eliminating the inherent shortcomings in the directimpingement operating system. These eorts have resulted in our amily o M6™ short-stroke, gas-piston operated rifes and carbines,which improve on the direct impingement system by operating cleaner, quieter, and with greater accuracy - and they do so with greaterreliability and longer service lie.

LWRCI™ has engineered a rie with greatly increased capabilities over thecurrent mil-spec M16/AR15/M4 amily o ries and carbines. The principalimprovement comes rom the incorporation o our patented sel-regulatingshort-stroke gas-piston system. This system eliminates the venting o hot, carbon-laden gases into the receiver and bolt carrier group, thus eliminating the intensivecleaning regime o the legacy rie. It also means the bolt carrier group andassociated springs are not subjected to the searing heat o the tapped gases, thisbeing one o the major causes o small parts ailure. This translates into carbinesthat are ar more reliable than the legacy direct impingement carbines, regardlesso user maintenance.Another beneft o our short-stroke, gas-piston system is the improved handlingcharacteristics o our weapons over the direct impingement legacy weapons.Recoil is lighter and muzzle rise is greatly reduced. Amazingly, this is accomplishedin a carbine that is ergonomically identical, weighs almost the same, and retains80% parts commonality with the legacy direct impingement carbine.The components o our piston system are machined rom
alloy, a materialthat belongs to the superalloy amily. These superalloys are ound in the aerospaceindustry such as in the blades o gas-turbine jet engines. It is their ability towithstand extremely high temperatures without losing their strength or becomingatigued which makes them an ideal choice or our advanced piston system.
