An All-Pakistan national level event, under the auspices of IEEE Karachi Section, which will testthe engineering skills of the students of different educational institutions and allow them to servethe humanity, has been planned this year. The theme chosen for this mega event is
Technology for Special Citizens
under which students from different institutions are welcometo develop projects that would give them international recognition by IEEE and a chance to takehome a handsome prize money.
A two-day event in Karachi, the heart of Pakistan, is organized by the IEEE Karachi Section togive a golden opportunity to the graduates and undergraduates who can benefit from this eventby getting their projects sponsored and recognized by leading industries.From executives to extensive media coverage, the event will be attended by leading industrialistsand CEOs who will judge the projects based on their idea and innovation involved. Rules and Regulations of the Project Competition:
Each Project Group has to have (4) four group members at Maximum, accompanied by 1Faculty Member of the respective University as a Supervisor.2.
Universities are to submit their respective teams and projects through UniversityAmbassador appointed in the respective University with respect to the Event.3.
The Project/technology developed should be deployable and ready to serve, i.e. itsimplementation should be immediate.4.
The Projects will be judged on the idea implemented and the robustness of the project, soit is recommended to give a
‘Manufactured and Complete’
look to the project/technology.5.
The Project must be specifically framed and made under the mentioned theme, i.e.
Technology for the Special Citizens
, any projects made which do not fall under thegiven theme will be immediately disqualified.6.
Teams are to submit their respective project proposals along with faculty advisor andmember details by the given deadline. Late Registration or submission of proposals willnot be entertained.7.
Teams are to submit relevant reports and manuals of the progress of their project by thegiven deadline. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the registration for theTechno Expo Event.
