the beautiful Bahamas. Focusing on the themes of reection, evaluation, evolution, forward planning and the future, the meeting will beheld from October 17-20. Whether it is exploring the natural beauty around theislands, staying at the iconic Royal Towers, enjoying incredibleentertainment and cuisine, soaking up the excitement of thecasino, rediscovering your sense of adventure at the Aquaventureor viewing the series of aquariums located beneath the lobby of the Towers, Atlantis offers something for everyone.Aside from this remarkable destination, our 20th anniversary scientic meeting offers an invaluable scientic and educationprogram. Shaped by a framework for ensuring members continue to thrive in our changing economic and social environment, program chair Dr. Francisco “Paco” Jimenez Acosta is putting together a broad learning experience. The program will includeworkshops and discussion panels on the hotly debated topicof FUE. The line up of presentations includes “How I do it onFUE and body hair transplant”, FUE versus strip harvesting graftsurvival, robotics in FUE, and direct FUE implantation. This year’s meeting breaks new ground by offering courses inpractice management as well as informative presentations onmarketing, public and community relations issues. These typesof courses fall outside of the scientic framework, however, as Ihave said in the past, preserving our role as the unchallengeableauthority on hair restoration, will demand a range of tools, in
artcular moern marketng an communcaton sklls.
Along with the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues fromacross the globe, our 20th anniversary meeting provides a greatoccasion to reect on our success and to evaluate how we cancontinue to evolve for the benet of our patients and profession.I look forward to seeing you all in the Bahamas.
