AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE AND STUDENTS
Dear Readers,In his arewell speech, GeorgeWashington warned the citizens o America about the dangers o split-ting into two opposing political par-ties. Yet it seems that as time goeson, we continue to split ourselvesurther and urther. Today, we ndourselves hotly divided on almostevery issue – rom healthcare to gaymarriage, rom economic practices tomilitary presence in oreign countries. And while some o these issues, which saturate our minds daily, mightseem to pale in comparison to thegreatly divisive issues o the past, they matter greatly to all o us. We allhave our ideals or America’s uture, and we’re all sure that we know whatis best or our ellow citizens. In this issue, we cover two o thebigger issues at stake in this election– the uture o American health care, and the uture o our economy. Itmight serve as a reresher or some,an eye-opener or others, or a topic o debate or a ew. But no matter whichway you lean on political spectrum, Iurge everyone to cast a vote this No-vember. I we cannot honor GeorgeWashington’s warnings, we should atleast honor our right to play a role inour country’s uture.Happy reading!Carey HanlinEditor-in-Chie
