Introduction
In order to comprehend the need for improvement inthe construction industry and to better manage ourprojects and construction companies, we need to look for amethod to do so. Construction managers need to improvetheir performance. Construction costs are becoming fartoo high. Construction project management is moredifficult than it should be. When turnaround at the end of aproject becomes a gut-wrenching experience withunnecessary disputes (which must be settled) that arisedue to insufficient quality or indifference to quality,settlement by negotiation, arbitration, or even litigationimposes a serious drain on the financial resources of acompany and limits profit potential.
