The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be issuing Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR’s) insupport of the Republican National Convention taking place in Tampa, FL. The restrictions are designed to provide a safe and secure environment for the event.Pursuant to 49 USC 40103(b), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) classifies the airspace defined inthis advisory and the published NOTAM as 'National Defense Airspace'. Pilots who do not adhere to thefollowing procedures may be intercepted, detained and interviewed by law enforcement/security personnel.Any of the following additional actions may also be taken against a pilot who does not comply with therequirements or any special instructions or procedures announced in the NOTAM:A) The FAA may take administrative action, including imposing civil penalties and the suspension or revocation of airmen certificates; or B) The United States Government may pursue criminal charges, including charges under Title 49 of theUnited States Code, Section 46307; or C) The United States Government may use deadly force against the airborne aircraft, if it is determined thatthe aircraft poses an imminent security threat.
Be advised that noncompliance with the published NOTAM may result in the use of force.

a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) will be placed at 274606N/0823912W which is thePIE174008.5 and will consist of a 30NM outer ring and a 10NM inner core, from the surface up to but notincluding 18,000 FT MSL. The TFR will be in effect from 1400 -2300 Local.From August 27
th
to August 30

a TFR will be placed at 275713N/0822801W which is the PIE081011.8 andwill consist of a 3NM ring, from the surface up to but not including 5,000 FT MSL. The TFR will be ineffect from 0900-1600 local daily.From August 27

a TFR will be placed at 275713N/0822801W which is the PIE081011.8and will consist of a 30NM outer ring and a 10NM inner core, from the surface up to but not including18,000 FT MSL. The TFR will be in effect from 1200-2359 local on 27 August and from 1600-2359thereafter.Operations at Knight Airport (KTPF) will be prohibited when either TFR is in effect.
3NM TFR
The following restrictions will be in place when the 3NM TFR is in effect, August 27-30.Aircraft flight operations will be prohibited except as specified below and/or unless authorized by ATC inconsultation with the Air Traffic Security Coordinator via the Domestic Events Network (DEN):
