    Inspired by a student who asked an innocent but mind-blowing question about scales (if, instead of the major scale interval pattern being whole-whole-half-whole-whole-whole-half, it was just whole-whole-half and repeated over and over again). In a nutshell, each octave on the piano has a different scale, so the piece works with and around those dissonances. It is also to be played glacially slowly. Ideal for intermediate players and/or fans of Brian Eno's Music for Airports.
