AfterresizingtheHDTVdesktop,thenewresolutioncreatedisnowadded tothelistofavailableresolutionsforthatdisplay,andalsoaddedtothe resolutionlistwithinmostgamesorapplications.

InRelease190,themethodforresizingtheHDTVdesktophaschangedtoprovide betterimagequalitywhenapplyingunderscan.Thismethodresultsinanew resolutionbeingcreated.Somegamesorapplicationsmaynotsupportthenew resolution,however.

SomeHDMI/DisplayPortdisplaysdonotsupportaudio,orhaveissueswithcurrent NVIDIAgraphicscards. TheNVIDIAdriverattemptstoidentifysuchdisplaysandautomaticallydisablesthe audio.Forexample,theNVIDIAdriverdisablesHMDIaudioforallPhilipsHDMI TVs,asthesehavebeenidentifiedashavingissueswithcurrentNVIDIAgraphics cards.
