What is “Windward Mall’s Festival of Giving?”
“Festival of Giving” gives local nonprofit organizations a chance to raise money. The event will includespecial store discounts, restaurant and eatery specials, door prizes and entertainment. Nonprofit groupssell tickets to this exclusive shopping event and keep all the funds generated by selling the $10 tickets.
When is the event?
Friday, November 9, 2012, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. through Sunday, November 11, 2012, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m.
How does my group raise money selling tickets and how do we benefit?
There is no charge to any participating group to sell tickets. Your nonprofit group keeps all the money itreceives from selling the tickets and this year, ticket prices are now $10 each. You may raise additionalmonies if your organization chooses to man an entrance table on the day of the event. Groups manningentrance tables on event day are asked to perform additional duties, such as ticket stub collection and program distribution. However, your group will also be able to sell tickets to non-ticket holders as theyarrive at the mall to shop. An easy sell! You must sign your group up now for one of the tables. Entrancetables are limited and groups will be selected in a drawing.Any unsold tickets can be returned to Windward Mall management office after the conclusion of “Festival of Giving.” There is no fee for unsold tickets.
When will tickets go on sale?
In order to pick up a supply of tickets, nonprofit groups must have their
participation form returned tothe Management Office no later than Monday, September 17, 2012.
You may then pick up yourtickets and a preliminary list of merchant discount offers from Windward Mall’s management officebeginning Monday, September 24, 2012. The mall management office is located on the Upper Level, nextto Macy’s. This gives you 7 weeks to sell your supply of tickets!
What does the $10 ticket buy?
The $10 will go directly to your local nonprofit group. The ticket will also give shoppers a wonderfulevent of discounted shopping, sampling, door prizes and terrific entertainment.

TICKET SALES GUIDELINES
 
“Festival of Giving” tickets must be sold for $10. For each ticket sold, your organizationkeeps the entire $10. The more tickets you sell, the more you earn!
 
The ticket price should never be discounted by anyone. If you need additional tickets, theymay be ordered by calling 235-1143 x18.
 
At the end of the event, simply turn in any unused tickets. Your unused tickets can bereturned to the mall management office.
