District) voluntarily submits this ResolutionAgreement (Agreement}
to
the U.S. Department
of
Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR), DallasOffice. By this Agreement, the Dallas lSD commits to the following actions, consistent with therequirements
of
Title
IX
of
the Education Amendments
of
1972 (Title IX},andits implementing regulations, to resolve the allegation identified through OCR's investigation
of
the above-referencedcomplaint. The Dallas
lSD
understands that OCR will not close the monitoring
of
this Agreementuntil OCR determines that the Dallas lSD has fulfilled
the
terms
of
this Agreement and is
in
compliance with the regulations implementing Title IX,
at34
C.F.R. §§106.31 and 106.34, whichwere
at
issue in this case. The Dallas lSDfurtherunderstands that
by
signing this Agreement, itagrees
to
provide data and other information
in
a timely manner in accordance with the reportingrequirements
of
this Agreement.Further, the Dallas lSD understands that during the monitoring
of
thisAgreement,
if
necessary.OCR may visit the Dallas ISO, interview staff, and request such additional reports
or
data as arenecessary for OCR to determine whether the Dallas lSD has fulfilled the terms
of
this Agreementand is
in
compliance with the regulationsimplementingTitle IX,
at
34
C.F.
R.
§§106.

and 106.3

In addition, the Dallas ISO understands and acknowledges that
OCR
may initiate administrativeenforcement
or
udicial proceedings
to
enforce the specific terms and obligations
of
this AgreemenlBefore initiating administrativeenforcement(34
C.
F.R.
§§100.9, 100.10),
or
judicial proceedings toenforce this Agreement, OCRshallgive the DallaslSD writtennotice
of
the alleged breach and aminimum
of
sixty (60) calendar days
to
cure the allege,d breach. This Agreement does notconstitute an admission
by
the Dallas ISO that
it
discriminated
or
otherwise engaged in anywrongdoing. The Dallas ISO hereby voluntarily commits
to
the following:

Reporting Requirement

of
thecurriculum objectives a1d lesson plans, evidence

the provision
of

to
