Reporting Requirement
1.2 By November 30, 2012, the Dallas ISO will submit and provide to OCR documentation evidencing that it has implemented Item 1.1 so as to ensure that all 5111 grade students, regardless of their sex/gender, received the same substantially equal educational benefits (same subject and/or vo ewing or activity}, and curriculum objectives and lesson plans, that were provided on or about February 9, 2012, in participating in and/or viewing Red Tails, Akeelah and the Bee, or other movie or activity. Documentation may include copies of the curriculum objectives a1d lesson plans, evidence of the provision of same to all 51J1 grade male and female students, and the date(s) the substantially equal educational benefits were provided to all 5111 grade students.

2.1 By October 31. 2012, the Dallas ISO will schedule Title IX training for its Title IX Coordinators, Dallas ISO Administrators, and Dallas lSD campus principals, and any other relevant staff who are directly involved in organizing and making decisions with regard to students' education programs and activities. The Dallas lSD will ensure that this training provide essential legal guidance and instruction on the District's responsibilities pursuant to Title IX, including, but not limited to:
2.1.1 the Dallas !SO's grievance procedures, and applicable legal standards for conducting investigations of complaints alleging any action prohibited by the regulation implementing Title IX (34 C.F.R. 106.8); recognizing and appropriately addressing allegations and complaints of sex/gender discrimination (e.g., different treatment, harassment and hostile environment, etc.) in education programs and activities (34 C.F.R. 106.31); and the regulatory requirements for providing single-sex classes or extracurricular activities (34 C.F.R. 106.34(b)}.

Reporting Requirement 2.2 By November 30. 2012, the Dallas lSD will submit and provide to OCR documentation that it has provided applicable Dallas lSD staff with the training referenced in Item 2.1. Documentation may include the date(s), time(s) and location{s) of the training; the name(s) and title(s) of the individual(s) who conducted the training; a copy of any handout materials used or distributed during the training; and sign-in sheet{s) with the name(s) and title(s) of the Dallas lSD staff who attended the training. The Dallas lSD will also provide documentary verification to OCR that the training materials used during these training sessions were disseminated to any individuals who were unable to attend the training session(s), Including the name(s) and title(s) of the absent individuals who received the information.
