Conflict Resolution: Solving Workplace Problems
The purpose of this training is to expand team member skills in managing workplace conflict. After
attending this training, participants will have practical experience in negotiating successful outcomes
to conflict situations. This training examines basic conflict resolution principles such as getting to the
underlying concerns of conflict participants rather than their stated demands. Participants engage in
role-plays to learn how to negotiate in conflict situations. Self-report instruments are used to help par-
ticipants learn what their predisposed conflict style is and how that style impacts conflict situations.

The purpose of this training is to explain what stress is and acquaint the participant with various types
of stress, as well as how to deal with stress. Training topics include discussions about how stress affects
us at home and in the workplace; and how negative stress can adversely affect health and well-
being. Self-report instruments assist participants in identifying personality traits that contribute to how
one reacts to and deals with stress. After attending this training, participants will be able to apply
