i cant finish- too depressing, so unfair;( nearly half, yah HALF r doing time but didnt commit no crime. what type of justice do we have? i think it would b safe 2 say: judge-n-jury should get prizon w/no life.
This is an excellent report about life without parole sentences (LWOP) imposed on juveniles in Michigan. Work is currently underway to abolish this ongoing human rights atrocity which only the U.S. and Somalia commit against its children. The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) prohibits the imposition of the death penalty and life without parole sentences on juveniles.
Support the effort to abolish juvenile life without parole sentences which are tantamount to death sentences. You can learn more about this effort by visiting www.secondchancelegislation.org and by visiting www.4Efren.com.
