Craig Heard Deserves Better
[Original Op/Ed by Davy Vara at: http://www.minorityreporter.net/fullstory.php?id=1138]Yes, he did deserve better. A better set of role models who gave a sh** that a 14year old was out of the house at 3:00am, on a school night. Actually, as I recall,he hadn’t been home in several days at that point, right? I hope “Moms” thinksabout that every time she spends a nickel of the money she earned for being abad parent. Police Of
cers, and their families, certainly deserve better than tohave a car driven toward them while on doing public service. And they cer-tainly deserve better than to have someone, who’s credibility is sketchy at best, continually question the actions of those there that night, while they themselveswere not.~Bigchubb6570Davey,I am saddened to see the photo of Craig’s grave site. After the mother receivedso much money you would think that she would at least buy a nice monumentto honor her son. It just shows the type of parent she is/was. This is why ourchildren are in the state they are in. Many of them have no real roll-models, intheir parents or other family members... it’s very sad.~Sabrina
President Creating Unnecessary Division
[Original Op/Ed by Rev. Michael Vaughn: http://www.minorityreporter.net/full-story.php?id=1127]I think we also have to look at the fact that many companies have exploitedworkers and once those workers make more demands, the jobs end up goingelsewhere. I think also think when one says that the wealthy aren’t pay their fairshare, it means in terms of sacri
ce during these times and in terms of percent-age. I don’t think that the President is anti-wealth or anti-entrepreneurial, buteven God puts wealth into the hands of those that will distribute. sometimes wemay be asked to do more of that and when we do that, God will bless us evenmore and it isn’t like that person will not be wealthy by doing that. So, I don’tknow if it will cause a division, as long as we can put money/wealth into properperspective.~C. HudYou share much wisdom, more than that of the partisan-’Pastor’. I
nd it inter-esting when preachers consistently sprout the words of a particular party and tryto make the Bible
t into their westernized modern-day religion.~Robert
