150 great artists and 150 people greatly influence by art were interviewed about what art "does" to and for them. These answers were categorized, bottom up, into a factal concept model used, in later research to test the hypothesis--works that enact more of these 64 functions are greater than other, last longer in history, and are priced higher eventually than competitor works.
