SURVIVAL OF THE SPECIES:
A warningWe cannot pretend to solve all our problems at once…
We shall invest most of our efforts in making life in outer space areality.
Most of us have not yet grasped the huge importance for ushumans, to take all measures possible against any possible globalcatastrophe. It has taken humanity thousands of years to develop arespectable accumulation system of knowledge (scientific observation)and we shall not take it for granted. Our current sciences andtechnologies, could be lost if we don’t really protect our species bycreating a safe heaven somewhere in outer space. We no longer shallthink of ourselves as different races, but simply as the human race.If we don’t do anything about it, and live as if planet Earth isindestructible, we’ll face our demise, and our destiny will be extremelyshameful in the face of the universe because as a race WE HAD THEPOWER, the intelligence, the tools and the imagination to prevent it.Outer space seems an inhospitable place and our minds tell us that thereis no safer place for us than here on Earth. But this is the same mindframe that existed before the New World (the Americas) wasdiscovered. We have to lose our fears and know that we are meant toconquer outer space and to cross to other worlds. We should not beafraid of the huge challenges that are to be undertaken. Experience andknowledge will give us security and the view of outer space as our truehome.We shall conquer outer space, and provide more probabilities for intelligent life to prosper in our given section of the universe. If wedon’t do so, we don’t really appreciate the real value of our existence,neither our true potential to represent a sane, strong, always learning,united, healthy and in peace society. Even unimaginable technological breakthroughs await us once we focus our efforts in conquering outer space, just like the effect world wars had on revolutionizing our
