of Calicut University from 12-08-2011. He is a very senior Agricultural Scientist and a well known Educationist from Indiaspecialized in Tropical Agriculture (Agronomy) for over three decades. He has born in aremote rural village of Kerala, as the second son of a farmer, on 10

his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Kerala University (1973), Masters Degree in
Agriculture (Agronomy) from the Kerala Agricultural University (1976) and Doctrate in Agriculture (Agronomy) from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India (1984). He hasa brilliant academic record all throughout his career. With Commmon Wealth AcademicStaff Fellowship, he completed his
