By year 2005, the turnover of apna bazaar reached Rs. 33,000 corers and 9,842 branchesacross 18 states were added to cater the needs of more than 20lac families. Total number of employees reached to 92 thousand.Apna Bazar having branch in 29 countries, selling more than2,00,000 essential commodities and needy products. Today ApnaBazar Co-op. is the largest retailer in the country, with an annualTurn over of Rs.150 Crores through 60 retail outletsMore than10,000 transport vehicles are using in r distribution of goods. Foot falls per day: 1500-1800 lakhs.
 
´On weekends: 2000-2200 lakhs.
 
´Average monthly turnover of the store is 1.6 cr.
 
´In which 24 lakhs turnover comes only from the medicaldepartment.
 
All this leads in the progress of the business in this result inthe successful achievement of objectives.
 
OTHER ACTIVITIES:-
APMC is a agriculture organization who purchase all thevegetables, fruits, rice, pluses, food grain, wheat, jaggery,coconut, grams and lentils, cornflour and so many other productsdirectly from the farmers. In case of food grains products thisdepartmental store use to buy in bulk from the APMC market andkeep it in their own gowdown. ´The gowdowns are in the storeitself.Apna Bazar departmental store purchase food grain andother essential commodities in two different forms APMC market-loose and packedIn case of perishable product like fruits, vegetables, milk theyordered on daily basis. ´FMCG products they ordered once aweek on the basis of demand.´In case of other FMCG productsEx.-
 
fruit juices, butter milk and other drinks, company givesthem 90 days time duration if in this time period theproducts remain unsold then companies take their productback.
 
´On the other hand product like- soap, shampoo, cosmeticscarries 2 years time period.
