THE BACK TO SCHOOL WITH BRENTWOOD TOWN CENTRE CONTEST (THE “
CONTEST
”) IS INTENDED TOBE CONDUCTED IN CANADA ONLY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO CANADIANRESIDENTS ONLY AND PARTICIPANTS MUST BE THE AGE OF MAJORITY OR OLDER IN THE PROVINCE OFBRITISH COLUMBIA AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID IN WHOLE OR IN PART WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST RULES (THE “
CONTESTRULES
”).

ELIGIBILITY.
To be eligible for this Contest, an individual must:(a)
 
be a legal resident of the province of British Columbia;(b)
 
be of the age of majority or older in his/her province or territory of residence at the time of entry;and(c)
 
be a registered member of Pinterest (“
Pinterest
”) and have a valid Pinterest account (the
Pinterest Account
”). The Pinterest Account must be in good standing. If you are not a registeredmember of Pinterest, you can visit www.pinterest.com (the “
Pinterest Website
”) and register for afree account.Employees of The Province, a division of Postmedia Network Inc. (“
Postmedia
”) and Shape PropertyManagement Corp. d/b/a Brentwood Town Centre (“
Brentwood
”)
 
(Brentwood and Postmedia, collectively,the "
Sponsors
"), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotionalagencies, and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.The Sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in theContest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other informationrequested by and supplied to the Sponsors for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete,accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify anyentrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personaldetails and/or information.

CONTEST PERIOD.
The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“
PT
”) on August 21, 2012and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on September 16, 2012 (the "
Contest Period
") after which time the Contest willbe closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

HOW THE CONTEST WORKS.
 (a)
 
Entrants will have to visit the Pinterest Website There is no charge to become a member of Pinterest or to become a “follower” of The Province. Entrants will be required to visit the Pinterest Website, and login to their account using their Pinterest user name and password. Once logged in, entrants will berequired to become a “follower” of The Province by finding The Province’s Back to School withBrentwood Town Centre page on Pinterest at http://pinterest.com/theprovince/back-to-school-with-brentwood-town-centre/ (the
Province Pinterest Account
”) and clicking the “Follow” button. If anentrant does not have an existing Pinterest account, they will be able to create one by registering atthePinterest Website. Once registered, entrants will be required to follow the Province Pinterest Accountas indicated above. Entrants will also be required to
 
create a board on their profile entitled “
Back ToSchool With Brentwood Town Centre
” (the “
Entrant Board
”). The Entrant Board must be filed under the“Kids” category. Pinterest Accounts must be in the name of only one (1) user (the “
Pinner

who have shared accounts with the options to have multiple Pinners may not enter the contest sincethe same URL may not be used to enter the Contest more than once.(b)
 
During the Contest Period, entrants will be required to visit either 
http://pinterest.com/theprovince/back-to-school-with-brentwood-town-centre/
or www.theprovince.com/schoolfashions (the “
Image Websites
”, each, an “
Image Website
”) and “repin” aminimum of ten (10) images from the Image Websites to their Entrant Board. Once an entrant hasrepinned a minimum of ten (10) images, the entrant will be required to send an email to Postmedia atinclusive@theprovince.com with the subject line “Back To School With Brentwood Town CentreContest” and shall include the URL of their Entrant Board along with their first name, last name, age,telephone number, and mailing address including city and province to be entered into the Contest.

HOW TO ENTER.
 (a)
 
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. Enter using any of the methods of entryoutlined below. No entries will be accepted by any other means.(i)
 
To enter by email, send an email to inclusive@theprovince.com along with your name,complete mailing address, telephone number and age at time of entry, along with the URLof the Entrant Board.(ii)
 
For no purchase entries, clearly print your name, complete mailing address, daytimetelephone number, email address and age at time of entry on a plain piece of paper andsubmit it to the attention of Back To School with Brentwood Town Centre Contest c/o TheProvince
 
at 1 – 200 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6C 3N3.(b)
 
Limit of one (1) entry per person

during the Contest Period.
 
Entrants may onlyuse one (1) email address to enter, or otherwise participate in the Contest. If it is discovered thatyou attempted to: (i) obtain more than one (1) entry in the Contest; and/or (ii) use more than one(1) email address to enter, or otherwise participate in the Contest; the Sponsors, in their solediscretion, may disqualify you and all of your entries may be subject to disqualification. In the caseof multiple entries, only the first eligible entry will be considered.(c)
 
 All entries become the sole property of the Sponsors and none will be returned for any reason.Entries must be received no later than the end of the Contest Period. Entries will be declaredinvalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, garbled or mechanically or electronically reproduced. No communication or correspondence will beexchanged with entrants except with those selected for a Prize.(d)
 
Entries received online shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. For the purpose of the Contest Rules, “authorized accountholder" of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail addressby an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Eachselected entrant may be required to provide the Sponsors with proof that the selected entrant is theauthorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

PINTEREST RULES.
 (a)
 
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Pinterest.You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsors and not to Pinterest. Theinformation you provide will only be used for: (i) the administration of this Contest; (ii) as permittedby Additional Uses (as defined below); and (iii) in accordance with the Postmedia Network’sprivacy policy (as defined below).(b)
 
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditionsgoverning use of Pinterest (the “
Pinterest Rules
”), which are posted on Pinterest. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of Pinterest in the event that Pinterest blocks or shuts down aPinterest Account due to failure to abide by the Pinterest Rules, such decision to be final andbinding in all respects. Pinterest reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend any Pinterest Account found to be in breach of the Pinterest Rules.(c)
 
Entrants may not create and/or use multiple Pinterest accounts in an attempt to gain more than thepermitted number of entries and/or votes in connection with this Contest.(d)
 
 All entries must be submitted in the name of an individual person and the Prize (as defined below)will only be awarded to the person whose name is associated with the winning Pinterest Account.(e)
 
Use of any automated system to register for, or otherwise participate in the Contest is prohibitedand is grounds for disqualification.(f)
 
Charges may be applied, by a wireless service provider, for the use of Pinterest through wirelessinternet use or application use from your wireless device. The wireless service provider is solelyresponsible for the service it provides to you. Postmedia is in no way responsible for the accuracy,timeliness, delivery or receipt of any messages, uploads or votes transmitted through the wirelessservice provider and disclaims any responsibility in respect thereof. Winner is not entitled to monetary difference between actual Prize value and stated approximatePrize value, if any.(d)
 
Prizes will be distributed within one (1) day after Winner has been successfully contacted andnotified of his/her Prize and fulfilled the requirements set out herein.(e)
 
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. Any unused portion of a Prizewill be forfeited and have no cash value. The Sponsors reserve the right, in its and their sole
