Cranford Development Associates, LLC (The S. Hekemian Group) is seeking permits from your department to build a 360 apartment project and parking garage on Birchwood Avenue in Cranford, NJ. I also have written about this issue to Mr. Andy Clark in the Division of Land Use Regulation in the Department of Environmental Protection. Cranford Township, and in particular the property for which the application was made, is experiencing an increase of the already catastrophic flooding of private homes, businesses, and public buildings with which we are afflicted each year. No one with the least shred of conscience would subject the residents of Cranford to greater devastation by granting the approval sought by The S.
