and Children’s Health in North America

Disclaimer
Tis publication was prepared by the Secre-tariat o the Commission or EnvironmentalCooperation (CEC). Te views containedherein do not necessarily reect the viewso the CEC, or the governments o Canada,Mexico or the United States o America.Te National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) and the oxics Release Inventory (RI) data sets used in this report are con-stantly evolving, as acilities revise previoussubmissions to correct reporting errors ormake other changes. For this reason, Canadaand the United States each “lock” their datasets on a specifc date and use those lockeddata sets or annual summary reports. Eachyear, both countries issue revised databasesthat cover all reporting years. Te CEC ollowsa similar process. For the purposes o thisreport, the RI data set o June 2004 and theNPRI data set o July 2004 were used. TeCEC is aware that changes have occurred sincethis time to both data sets or the reportingyear 2002 that are not reected in this report.
