Lupin Hill Elementary School Visitor Policy

All visitors MUST enter the building at the front entrance, and report directly to the main office to sign-in. 1. Please use the visitor parking in any of 46 open spaces in the main lot. Visitors may not park in any of the 23 marked STAFF RESERVED or the 5 RESERVED PARKING spaces. Please do not park next to the sidewalk in front of the school. The back parking lot is for TEACHERS ONLY. There is no vehicle access to the back lot until after 3:00pm. 2. Please use the front door to enter the school. Please do not use classroom doors as this is against our school safety procedures. 3. All visitors must stop in at the main office, sign in and out on the VISITORS NOTEBOOK and wear a visitor tag at all times on the school grounds. Please indicate time, your name, and intended location in the building. You may be asked for photo ID. Anyone without a visitors badge will be redirected to the main office to get one. 4. Put pagers and cell phones on vibration or no ringer mode when entering the school building to eliminate inadvertent distractions from student learning. If a visitor needs to use the cell phone, please use away from instructional areas and students. 5. All students, staff and visitors need to be mindful of being quiet and using appropriate language in hallways, so as not to disrupt children from learning in classrooms. 6. Due to our Photo Policy, pictures may not be taken on campus by any person without prior permission and supervision of a teacher. 7. Parents/guardians may not be on campus before 2:00 pm for primary dismissal or 2:25pm for upper grade dismissal. Otherwise, please wait in the front of the school. * 8. The play equipment is for the use of students only during school hours with Lupin Hill Staff supervision. * 9. The library is not open for students and/or parents use while school is in session. *Kindergarten parents may remain on campus to pick up older siblings at 2:05, but must wait in the Kindergarten yard (NOT the Primary yard). Children may play in the Kindergarten yard if supervised by a parent. (The patio and equipment inside are off limits.) Additional seating is available on the bench outside Room 1A, but children are not permitted to play in that area.
