TheD&RCanalbetweenTrentonandBordentownisaveryfunandinteresting5mileride. ThetrailispartoftheDelawareRiverHeritageTrailwhich,whencompletedwillbea circuitlinkingTrentontoPalmyraontheJerseyside,utilizetheTaconyPalmyraBridgeto connectwiththeEastCoastGreenwayinPennsylvaniaandfollowthatnorthtoMorrisville andloopbacktoTrentonviatheCalhounStBridge. Unfortunately,followingthetrailisntexactlyobvious.Thereareacoupleofpointswhere youneedtousecluestoproceedforward.Thecluesvarywhetheryouaretravelingnorth orsouth.Thefirsthalfofthisdocumentprovidesthevisualsignsfortravelingsouth;ifyouaretravelingnorthjumpto page6ofthisdocument.
