Social Media Internship Resonate LLC is a strategic sustainability management firm serving the Philadelphia and Mid Atlantic region. We work with companies to help them integrate sustainability management practices into business systems, processes, and culture in a way that will further progress towards company goals, drive innovation, enhance brand, and increase profitability. Our process takes companies from education and commitment building within the organization, all the way through implementation and continuous quality improvement for sustainability initiatives. We are seeking an intern for the 2012-2013 academic year to focus on driving awareness for the business through social media content development and dissemination. The internship will require a commitment of 6-8 hours a week beginning September 17, 2012. The primary activities for this internship include: Follow key sustainability-related organizations on Twitter and Facebook Review selected articles, websites, etc. to identify relevant content for social media strategy in accordance with Resonate business priorities and goals Create social media content for Resonates LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook sites Manage, monitor/report on social media activities Resonate management will review and approve the work product from the activities listed above, and, from time to time, assign additional specific activities for completion. No communications may be disseminated via social media outlets without prior approval from Resonate management. Interns will have regular interaction with the principals of Resonate and at the end of the internship will have gained an understanding of: General understanding of sustainability consulting practices General understanding of primary sustainability issues and concerns Practical experience in implementation of a social media strategy designed to enhance awareness Applicants will be expected to have knowledge of social media outlets and strong research, organizational and written communication skills. Applicants will need to bring their own computer. Knowledge of sustainability concepts is preferred, but not required. Curiosity, imagination, and a respectful sense of humor and fun are required. Priority will be given to seniors and juniors for this internship. Internship Location: Berwyn, PA (walking distance to the SEPTA R5 line) Days/Hours: Beginning September 17, 2012 through Spring 2013, 6-8 hours a week, with a portion of the hours worked performed in the Resonate office and the remaining conducted remotely. This internship is unpaid, but a local transportation stipend will be provided.
