    Objective- The exercise will enable you understand the basics of Garment construction (Mainly Stitching operations) and its correlation to IE. The exercise will help you in preparing yourself better for Industry visits and internships in near future. For a garment students have to perform below analysis-

    1. Materials (Shell Fabric, Pocketing, Fusing , Sewing thread, Labels and Zippers etc.) used in the garment 2. Seam and Stitch types with their Sectional view 3. Operation Break down and sequence/flow chart. 4. Work aids and attachments recommended 5. Machine types recommended for each operation

    Notes:
    There will be 6 groups as decided in the class. The garment selected/Decided in the class should be there while assessment of the work. Each group is supposed to submit the document (hard and soft form) having detailed information as asked above.
