CORE STATEMENT
This project report will outline how legal systems attempt to regulate online behaviour with reference to privacy, breach of copyright or defamation and explore if any onesystem could regulate online behaviour.
 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The internet provides users all over the world with the facility to communicateinformation which can be accessed and shared through a communal resource. All oneneeds to connect to this resource is a computer with internet access. Since the internet became available in the mid 1990’s it has grown rapidly and its communication servicesare used by vast numbers of users from all around the world. The advantages of thistype of communications facility are that it can be accessed three hundred a sixty fivedays a year and twenty four hours a day. However, there are also disadvantages which primarily relate to the type of content which can be made available through the servicesit provides. The freedom of expression it affords users can be misused it there is nomeans of regulation.
