Did Darwin Kill God?The moment Charles Darwin published his book the Origin of Species, God waskilled. God has ever existed before Darwin; it is evolution that revealed the empiricalevidence needed to demonstrate to humanity that God has ever existed. The book revealed the process of evolution that changed how humanity understood life. Thetheory killed God because it was the birth of modern day atheism. However there aremany who believe that the evolution is compatible with God. People like GeorgeCoyne .I will demonstrate the Darwin’s evolution killed God because it is notcompatible with God. Evolution also disproves the literal interpretation of the book of Genesis which killed God for the creationists. Evolution by Natural Selection killedGod the designer as evolution disproves Thomas Aquinas Fifth proof of God thedesigner. Evolution also disproves the Intelligent Designers who claimed that theyhad a theory that scientific had disproved Darwin’s masterpiece. The structure of thisdiscussion is that I will set out the position of the respective groups who believe thatDarwin didn’t kill God and then I will disprove the deception.Darwin’s theory did not kill God because the theory of evolution is compatible withGod. God is the reason why we exist and evolution is the answer to how we exist.God is so powerful that God can create the world anyway God wanted to. These people like George Coyne former director of the Vatican Observatory and FrancisCollins head of the Human Genome Project do not literally believe in Genesis. These people answer why and how questions of human existence as we exist because Godcreated us and how this happened is answered with Darwin’s evolution as the processof God’s will. This compatibilist illusion stems from a belief to not interpret Genesisliterally and they don’t base their beliefs on the claimed scientific theories of intelligent design.Coyne beliefs that we must get away "from the notion of a… designer God"

, to thereal interpretation of God as a parent who loves us and guides. Love is the nature of God. This interpretation of God is nicely compatible with Darwin’s evolution as therandom aspect of evolution secured to humanity our freedom from God. Randomness

cannot be controlled by anyone or entity. This process of evolution guarantees thatnothing is pre-determined. How can anything be pre-determined by randomness? If God was constantly involved dictating the formation of life, humans would bereduced to puppets on strains and mere spectators. God’s creation is made free areality of evolution. Humans know we are not puppets under the control of God ashumans have free will. We think and reason independently when confronted by allsituations. If God did really control our thoughts and actions then why would Godallow the production of this essay? We are not mere spectators as humans areinvolved in the process of evolution as it is our responsibility to care for theenvironment and not to destroy the planet. Humans have a duty to protect and preserve our planet not God. We see our freedom evolving everyday as humans canchose to pollute, chose to hate or love each other. The world does not have a staticenvironment. We are free willing participates in shaping our world. Has praying toGod ever avoided, prevented a disaster? No. What is certain human will and actionshapes our planet which is God’s nature. This nature of God is love.God’s nature which is God is love

is certainly not compatible with evolution.Evolution is a brutal genocide that plagues the planet. The consequence of animalscompeting for scarce resources is that those who fail to obtain the resources will die.If an animal has no food they will die. Failure to adapt, their competitors will steal thefood and water supplies. Since resources are scarce the weak will die. The random process of been naturally selected to inherit the adaptations of the parent whichallowed the parent to survive is a heartless lottery. All the offspring are notguaranteed to inherit the advantage of their parent’s adaptions. If God exists as lovewhy didn’t God create unlimited equality distributed resources on the planet? Whywould love create a process that ensures that creation will be competition withcreation in a struggle for survival? A savage brutal progress of evolution cannot becompatible with a God who is pure love. The justification for the compatibility of God and evolution is that God is the why weexist and evolution is how God created humans. Evolution killed God becauseevolution provides an "explanation of our existence that completely rejectedsupernatural agents"

surviving in their habit are inherited by their offspring. These "inherited variationsthat increases an organism’s chance of survival in a particular environment is calledan adaption"

.Evolution killed God because humans exist as "a way of preserving genes"

. Thisexplanation of humans been survival vehicles for genes provides an answer to "thedeep problem of our existence"

to answer thequestions of life anymore. Natural Selection is incompatible with God becauseevolution has freed us from "the idea that it takes a big fancy smart thing to make alesser thing"
9
.This incompatibility of evolution and God which results in the death of God is clear.Evolution explains everything about life .Evolution explains "how organisedcomplexity can emerge from simple beginnings without any deliberate guidance"
. More importantly random natural selection shows no evidence of "design or purpose"
which fundamentally killed the idea of God. Any design must have organisation. How can organisation be compatible with randomness? Purpose cannot be compatiblewith a process of random selection. James Watson co-discoverer of the Double Helixstated that we exist because we’re "just products of evolution"
. As a consequence of  being products of evolution there is no organisation and purpose to life at all. Servinga God, the Triune God and Allah is defined as the ultimate purpose to all religions.Since random evolution has no purpose for its products, Darwin killed God.The Selfish Gene is compatible with evolution because humans evolved for genes tosurvive the competition for scarce resources. Genes adapt to their environment, genesadapt to beat their predators and competitors. Adapting to compete successfully andsurvive, these are classical characteristics of Darwin’s evolution. The consequence being the Selfish gene is completely compatible with evolution which killed God.God is killed because we exist as survival machines for genes and not a symbol of
