Grassroots partners have gone from basic photo trainings under tarps to being leaders in addressing rape and sexual violence. Partners manage a database system and 24-hour sexual violence hotline in a country where 911 doesnt exist. Over 2000 calls elded on hotline. Close to 150 women trained and given access to new tools. Private/public Digicel collaboration key to building hotline call center.

In a country with < 1% mobile phone penetration, and where the rst successful government kill switch shut down internet and mobile phones ended peaceful protests, Dd worked to: Introduced concept and strategically advised launch of worlds largest Barcamp in Yangon. Launched rst Ushahidi instance for human rights data collection.
